This Snap Lock model has a bead blast finished blade with a partially serrated cutting edge. The CRKT Snap Lock folder took the knife world by storm when it won the Most Innovative Knife Award at the 2004 Blade Show. CRKT and designer Ed Van Hoy are excited to revive this popular design and bring back the 180 swing opener. Take your EDC game up a notch with the tried and true CRKT Snap Lock.

The Snap Lock was designed by custom knife maker Ed Van Hoy for comfortable everyday carry. The Rotating Snap Lock (RSL) has a cam locking system with two thumb wheels for ambidextrous use. Just press down on a thumb wheel and rotate the blade. The blade can rotate a full 360 degrees with the clip removed, or 180 degrees in either direction with the clip in place. The RSL Snap Lock knife offers stainless steel construction with a durable bead blast finish.

  • Ultra-slim skeletonized design offers comfortable everyday carry.
  • Removable stainless steel clip doubles as a pocket or money clip.
  • 180 swing opening blade offers quick blade deployment and solid lock up.

Okay so straight up, I DONT THINK this is a good idea for an EDC. if you need to use a knife a lot for work or what ever, this knife can be a little annoying and hurts the thumb a little bit after around 10 opens and closes.

If you are looking for a very cool looking, interesting opener that is sharp and an almost party piece that no one knows how to open (not hair shaving sharp but more like skin flaking sharp)

Great for opening boxes and seems to hold an edge for a good time. sharpens easily because its a flat edge and not curved so you can just sit there and really quickly get it sharp with no attention to technique.

No blade play 3 months later and is definately going to stay in my circulation of knives to use at work at a tire place.

This knife is for fidgeting it comes sharp, but is not practical. ONLY FOR SHOWING OFF TO FRIENDS, not an edc
