This Blade HQ Exclusive Redencion Street model has a gray titanium handle with a carbon fiber inlay. The drop point blade is made from S35VN steel with a lightly tumbled black finish.
The Chaves Knives Redencion Street is based on the revered custom Redención model. The Street Drop Point is a slightly scaled down version, but still maintains its overbuilt framelock heritage. This knife is part of the Ultramar series, a production line made by Reate to bring Ramon's exceptional custom designs to a wider audience. The Redencion Street comes outfitted with a signature Chaves skull pocket clip for secure everyday carry.
Features:
This is a gorgeous (and exclusive to BladeHQ) carbon fiber inlay titanium framed knife. Despite the liberal use of titanium and carbon fiber, this is a knife you will notice in your pocket as it’s heavy for a sub-4-inch knife. The color combination here is a feast for the eyes. And yes, this is not a custom Chaves knife, but it’s not priced like one either. Blade is sharp, lockup is great and build quality is spot-on. This is certainly the closest I’m getting to a custom Chaves knife at the moment. Packaging is really nice, with a black outer box and a magnetically-held lid for the red inner box. Jimping is great and the action is butter smooth with a satisfying CLICK to the lockup. Blade centering is excellent and the skull-themed pocket clip adds some real personality to the knife. My only nit to pick here is that there should be a microfiber bag or cloth like you’d see on a comparably priced Benchmade or other high-end knife. That minor gripe aside, this thing is great. Buy one before they all get sold.
