Citadel makes a number of elegant and exceptionally well-crafted pocket knives like the Giaponino folder. It is a compact liner lock knife with a two-tone finished Bohler N690Co stainless steel blade. An extended tang is used to open the blade and polished rosewood scales provide a solid three-finger grip. This knife is outfitted with a lanyard hole for quick and easy retrieval in pocket.

Created in Cambodia by Dominique Eluere at the end of the last century, Citadel's high end Knives and Swords are hand-made by master artisans in Cambodia. They combine modern materials with old school hand craftsmanship and traditional techniques to make a superior blade.

Good Design, But...
Christopher C.
I love the design of this knife. It feels great in hand and the blade came very sharp. But..

The over all fit and finish, imo, is poor on mine. The blade isn't pivot so easily, it's hard to over come the first detent. Tried to break it in by playing with it a lot, but still sticky. When locked, it is a pain and it hurts the thumb trying to push the lock bar back over. And this is coming from a guy who has had many cold steel tri ad locks. Blade is no where near close to center either.

Over all, I really like the design, look, and feel of the blade. but for the price range it is at, I would have expected better fit and finish.
