The Cold Steel Talwar folder was designed by celebrated custom knife-maker Andrew Demko and Cold Steel President Lynn C Thompson. It is named after the Indo-Persian sword that was used two hundred years ago.

The Talwar folding knife features a flat ground stainless steel blade with a continuously curved cutting edge from choil to the upswept point. The G-10 handle is textured and contoured with pistol grip style finger grooves for comfort and safety. Add to that the strong Tri-Ad lock and the Talwar is the real deal. Includes a reversible tip-up carry pocket clip.

Fast on the draw, the Cold Steel Talwar comes equipped with Andrew Demko's revolutionary ambidextrous thumb plate. By draw-snagging the knife on a pocket the Talwar can be in your hand quickly.

Nice knife
Aaron R.
This is a 4 star knife if it weren’t for the pocket clip. The clip is so stiff you can barely move it. Maybe it will loosen up over time but I doubt it. There’s no reason for it to be so stiff. Other than that I really like this knife. Buy one while you can.
Not as famous as it should be

The talwar series are very neglected imo. This knife is extraordinary. Full sized EDC. Good for a wide range of applications, superb ergos for anything, blade shape capable for almost anything you need as EDC (not to mention tactical if you are into that). Light, big, the strongest lock and CTS XHP. All this along with price point make this a perfect choice IMO.
