The design of the the Cold Steel Finn Wolf was inspired by the classic Puukko Finish hunting knife. Representing a collaboration with custom knife-maker Andrew Demko, the Finn Wolf utilizes the highly functional blade shape of the Puukko in a heavy duty EDC folding knife. It is equipped with Cold Steel's Tri-Ad lockback mechanism that adds new levels of safety and security. The blade is made from Japanese AUS8A steel with an easy to sharpen zero grind edge. It also includes a lanyard hole and a reversible pocket clip for versatile carrying options. This model has an OD green handle. The Finn Wolf offers dependable quality and a classic blade design at a price that is too good to pass up!

The Tri-Ad lock is one of my favorite mechanisms on the market. I love the look and feel of this knife, and it's very sturdy and durable for the price. Although the scandi grind does make it great for a lot of cutting and carving tasks, sometimes the blade shape seemed a little bit awkward for the things I wanted to do with it.
Great lightweight knife

I was looking for a solid light weight knife to take with me on my trips. I used to carry the Ontario rat 1 which is a fantastic knife, but was a little heavier than Id like. The Finn Wolf is an all around brute of a knife. Awesome lock up as cold steel is known for and no blade play even after batoning with it.
It's pretty great

I bought this knife because I'd read in a outdoors magazine, something about it being pretty good. And it is. It's everything you'd expect from Cold Steel. Sharp, solid, and ready for any task. If you want a working knife that you can use anywhere, for any task, buy this knife.
Best blade for the price

This is a great knife! The scandic grind is great for wood work and most EDC tasks. It does have an issue with the blade getting micro rolls in it because of the scandic grind and AUS8 steel, but they are very easy stopped out to get the knife back to shaving sharp! I really like it that its a stainless steel blade, less maintenance. The tri-ad lock it pretty stiff at first but it starts to ease up after a few days of use. The pocket clip rides a little high but it is deep enough and the knife is light enough to carry all day. The lanyard hole is perfect for a paracord lanyard, don't really need it because of the previously mentioned high ride pocket clip.

Overall, it's an amazing knife and we'll worth the $40
