Super strong lock!
Caleb J.
This is my first Cold Steel knife and I really like it. I wanted to try out the Tri-Ad lock and it is definitely as stout as everyone says. The only reason I knocked it down to 4 stars is because I still can not close this knife with one hand without making my thumb hurt from pushing down the lock. Awesome steel, awesome blade grind, tough coating, it's just great.
Pleasantly surpised...

I was on the fence about this one, but I saw it was on sale and decided to take a shot on it and I'm glad I did. This is a large folder but it has a thin profile and is liner-less which cuts down on the overall weight, making it very easy to carry for it's size. The tri-ad lock is super solid, the G-10 handles provide just the right amount of grip, and the pocket clip is much better than the one found on the Recon 1. Also, the dirk style blade has a wicked tip and came crazy sharp right out of the box. Overall, you'd be hard pressed to find something better for the price.
