The Cold Steel Royal Kukri Machete design makes it potent on the battle-field and in bushcraft as a survival tool. My first machete and seems like a very good one. Sharp out of the box and stays that way. The different shape takes some getting used to but cuts very effectively once you learn the tricks. A bit heavy maybe but very stout. Sheath is well constructed and good for storage and transportation (and for safety if practicing MA) but could use a leg strap to help with actually carrying in the field. Well worth the price.
