ColdSteel Swift II
Michael S.
The Swift II out of the box is by no means perfect. The action is fast but the side to side blade play was unacceptable. Also portions of the lock are painted that should not be causing it to catch and be extremely hard to release (both thumbs pushing very hard). Also once I tightened up the knife to get rid of the blade play it would not open fully, so I tore it down, sanded the washers and the sides of the blade that contacts the washers, sanded the paint off the contact portions of the locking mechanism, and lubricated it with a couple drops of 3-in-1 oil. Now it works great with no blade play, opens fast and hard. So in summation, out of the box not very good, with some work--great.
