Automatic Rescue/Parachute Knife by Colonial Knife Company. The M-724 features a rescue hook and automatic blade. It is made for use in emergency survival conditions. The M-724 consists of a hook belt cutter blade on one end and an automatic blade on the other end. The blade is opened by a release button and held in place with a slide lock. The steel is black finished 1075 HC, Rockwell 58-60 serrated and the handle is black DOW ISOPLAST with sliding safety.

This knife opens FAST. Kicks hard too. The button and safety are a touch sticky. Same with the rope cutter, though with a bit of oil they loosen up. The blade bound up a few times too, but loosening the pivot screw a quarter turn has solved the problem.The handle has a "wood-bark" texture to it, and feels good in the hand for what is essentially a plastic stick. It arrived crazy sharp too. Seriously though, this might be the fastest opening auto I have.
