The DPx HEST 2 Milspec version features a Niolox stonewashed blade and textured black G-10 scales. Sports a pry bar and the full-tang handle is hollow for storing supplies under scales. A pry notch is integrated in the blade along with a 1/4" hex drive and three wire notches. The HEST 2 comes with a durable nylon sheath.
Why would you need a bottle opener if it already has a pry bar to use? That's the question that sums up this knife. The cost of the bottle opener gimmick is paid with loss of functional ergonomics on the thumb ramp my thumb falls painfully into the space making Filipino grip weaker as a result. However the prybar and lionsteel fit and finish are amazing. This knife would be too if they remove you could replace the bottle opener with traditional straight thumb ramp and jimping
