This Russian knife from Daggerr is named after Bayun The Cat from Russian folklore, but this isn't some Instagram kitty star who befriends a baby chick. This massive feline lulls you to sleep like a mythological siren with its dangerous, magical voice. And then it eats you. A great name for a great knife! True to its namesake, this blade whips out of its cover like a razor sharp claw and, with easy-to-maneuver speed, becomes an extension of your movements. The recurve tanto gives you the advantage of a weight forward knife and creates a slight hollow that locks your material into place. If you're cutting rope or similar material, it's less likely to slip off your blade. Also, let's be honest, a recurve tanto looks seriously cool.
Daggerr Knives is a newer company based out of Russia that caters to the knife aficionado who wants to stand out from the crowd. For more Daggerr folding knives, check out the rest of our selection!
I have more Knives than what is normal. And I thought I had seen it all, but when I got this knife today 8-31-22, I was pleasantly surprised. The Coffin-style Scales feel quite nice in the hand. If you're a Lefty, a deep carry (skull ) clip can be moved to the other side. Used some CooL blue Allen head screws to attach it. They show through the holes that are the Skull's eye sockets. Has a right Heady Spline on it as well. I think the jimping could be a little more effective, but the Flipper jimping is pretty good. Fires off with a tad more trigger finger pull than I like, but it locks up tight and even. Cons: Blade HQ would not engrave something that I had chosen. Something about Policy. Other than that, all went well. I'll probably buy another one.
It’s a absolutely beautiful knife. The design of the blade itself and handle are great! Good edge and grind. Fairly ergonomic too. The jimping on the spine is completely useless, while the jimping on the flipper hurts a little bit to use, partially because of it’s a bit sharp and partially because you have to flip a huge blade past the detent with a small flipper. Sadly the screw for the pocket clip that goes through the backspacer came stripped. Besides that making the clip fit lose out the box, its been a pain trying to remove it. You either really like the design of the pocket clip or hate it, I’m the latter. All in all a very cool knife.
