Amazing value!

Just received this in the mail 2 days and i am really impressed with this knife. Let me get the negative out of the way first. The blade came with some scratching on the flats (i assume they are grit marks given that they are unidirectional) and their are a couple stains on the primary bevels. These complaints are minor however. On to the good! 440c may not be a super steel but its perfectly adequate for cutting tasks, especially since this knife came with a really sharp edge. (be careful! Im not exagerating! This came way shaper than my benchmade 67) What really blew me away is the overall quality of the handles! The machining is superb! Incredibly tight tolerances. It is lighter and has Less handle play than a barebones! i think this is due to the knife having bushing instead of solely relying on washers. The handles came nicely tuned, no adjustment needed. I did add a little extra lubricant because it felt a little dry. this things action is smooth as silk. If i didnt know better id tell you it was 300 dollar knife. Dont pass this one up
Fantastic Flipper

I picked up the Stonewashed 440C dogbite with one thing, and only one thing in mind, which is to practice flipping. The knife feels weighty in the hand leading to a much more solid feeling of momentum without requiring to put a lot of speed into your flips. 440C isn't an amazing supersteel, but for everyday carry it will do just fine, and should prove easier to sharpen than some other choices. The bronze bushings are a fine choice as they will continue to smooth the action over time as they naturally polish from the action itself. Overall, I love this knife and have no issue recommending it to someone who desires a first high end butterfly.
