DPx H.E.S.T. Original Fixed Blade Knife Micarta (3.125" Black)

Drawing on his experience in dozens of dangerous environments and harsh field conditions, Robert Young Pelton developed the H.E.S.T. (Hostile Environment Survival Tool) to be a reliable everyday carry fixed blade for operators and adventurers alike.

The DPx HEST Original fixed blade is manufactured in the United States by Rowen. It features an “over-built” blade crafted from high carbon 1095 steel, hardened to a 57-58 Rockwell hardness. Every aspect of the DPx HEST has been thoroughly thought out, from its balance, lashing points, thumb control, wire breaker and even the ability to remove the hollow Micarta handles using its brass screws for use as a neck knife.

This model has an black coated 1095 steel blade with a plain cutting edge and a canvas Micarta handle.
