This Iron Dragon model has a black G-10 handle and a stonewashed blade with a partially serrated edge. The Emerson Iron Dragon was designed as a tribute to famed martial arts expert Richard Bustillo. Mr. Bustillo was an original student of Bruce Lee and helped to bring his style of Filipino Martial Arts to the world. He is also the Jeet Kune Do teacher of one Ernest Emerson, and also the person who gave him his first bali-song knife, starting a life long passion for knife-making.

The Iron Dragon is a tough tactical EDC folder that offers several firsts on an Emerson folder. It's equipped with a titanium frame lock, replaceable stainless steel lock bar inset and stop pin, and a smooth ball-bearing pivot. The G-10 handle front provides a textured grip and is outfitted with a lanyard hole and a wide stainless steel pocket clip. Emerson's standard wave opener offers rapid one-handed blade deployment.

  • Titanium frame lock with a replaceable steel insert for dependable blade lock up.
  • Textured G-10 top scale provides a high performance grip in difficult conditions.
  • Emerson Wave opener offers quick, one-hand blade deployment.

Emerson's best design
Alex T.
I love this thing. I have had mine for a couple years and it is so smooth when closing, the detent on it is really light and the blade is rather large... the way I like it... not a fan of the serrated version... I have the standard blade and prefer it... Another cool thing with this car is the ball bearing pivot... its perfect for the weight of the blade... fly's open easy. I have a sheepdog as well which I love but I find this to be Emerson's best design for me.
