This knife was an excellent IDEA - but.... poorly executed. The blade shape is 10/10 but unfortunately for the how expensive this knife is compared to ZT and Benchmade not worth the money. The handle shape is okay but for my hand its not shaped quite right, maybe wearing gloves would help. Also the handle because its not shaped quite right has some hot spots. Blade metal is poor for the cost, should at least have been S20V for the money. The liner lock is pitifully thin metal. When I bought this I had already purchased two ZTs and was rather sorry to see how poorly the design had been carried out. The "wave" idea is interesting, but give me a good thumb stud any day of the week. Disappointing results - it lives in the safe. What would truly be perfection - take this blade shape and size make it in S30V or S35VN, beef it up a bit in thickness & height and stuff it into a ZT 200 handle.
