The PK-70 pocket knife is a non-locking folder from Brisa (EnZo) Knives of Finland. It features a lightly textured carbon fiber handle with stainless liners, scandi grind, and slipjoint mechanism. The blade is CPM-S30V stainless steel with a Scandi grind. Open via nail nick and carry with the deep tip-up pocket clip. The PK70 is an exceptional knife and legal in most places.
This is a great option if you don't (or can't) carry a locking knife or one hand opening knife. The back spring on this one locks up extremely securely, however is significantly smoother and easier on the opening compared with some of the tighter traditional slipjoints I have with similarly "snappy" locking. Materials are top notch, s30v and carbon fiber on a slipjoint is definitely a win!
I wanted a slip joint knife for when I travel to places where a locking knife may be a legal issue. This is a perfect knife. This model has no thumb studs which is what I wanted. I was extremely pleased with the quality of this knife. It's very well made. Just outstanding craftsmanship. For a slip joint it "locks" securely into place. Very well worth the money!
