I’m a big Civivi fan and figured I’d try a couple from the FF line to see if I’d be similarly/more impressed. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Where the Civivi line mainly uses T8 screws to secure the scales, FF uses strictly T6, which have a reputation for stripping. The Gent I bought is the only knife from Civivi/WE that I’ve received with an off center blade (does not line up evenly between liners when closed). The blade scale was loose such that it made a clicking noise when I’d press on the scale (up until I tightened it). Last, these lil guys don’t come with lanyard holes/loops. I keep lanyards on all my knives for when I’m really working them hard and want to ensure the knife does not slip from my hand, so this is a bit of a bummer. Anyway, love Civivi, FF, not so much…
