Flytanium Custom Brass Thumb Stud for Demko AD20.5 Knife (Stonewash)

I worried about Flytanium's AD20.5 thumb stud immediately after removing the stock because the Fly's screw is about half the diameter of the original. Sure enough, the screw twisted off during installation as soon as any torque was applied while securing the piece. The product is now unusable. I'm hoping to return this and try once more as I've purchased quality Flytanium products in the past, but it's hard to deny the choice to make the screw so small and flimsy, particularly in brass, was a foolish one on Flytanium's part given the stock stud is a thicker screw. The stock stud also required my using pliers to remove the studs and break free the screw from its loctite. The Flytanium, in contrast, collapsed as soon as any real pressure was applied. I wanted to give this at least two stars because the brass looks amazing against green scales and is a torx vs the stock slotted, but I can't rate above a one given the failure.
