Fit and finish needs to be better
Martin B.
I absolutely love the Vox design. This knife feels great in the hand. It was a wonderfully useful shaped blade that's not too big on a handle that fills the hand well. Elmax steel is awesome. I think its a beautifully designed, useful EDC knife.

Unfortunately the fit and finish from Fox is very lacking on this knife. For a $200ish knife, we have carbon fiber scales that are rough, almost unfinished. There were nicks in the carbon fiber on the top of the knife where I could see the liner shining through. The clip has parts of the edge that weren't smoothed out.

My first Tur that I exchanged couldn't even cut paper.

Overall, I still really like the design and my knife is just ok... but I really wish the fit and finish was better. Maybe better QC? This knife would be a solid 5 stars with proper quality control.
Gentlemanly looking yet tough for edc

The sculpted C.F. Scales are beautiful and the handle has great ergos, surprisingly no hot spot at the Ti pocket clip which has a hidden screw for better appearance. It also functions well even in Jeans style pockets. Elmax done right is one of my favorite steels. Blade shape is utilitarian yet aesthetically pleasing. It can be flicked for deployment yet it is not a drop shut closing. Linerlock is beefy and did have some initial stick. The BHQ crew sent me a fantastic specimen and for that I'm thankful.
Really like it

It is what I hoped it would be - a high quality, smaller knife for carrying when I'm in the office, so that I can pull it out without people thinking I'm a wacko serial killer, but large enough not to be a 3-finger knife. Everything about it is high quality and everything works really well. I have large - extra large hands and I was afraid the handle would be too short, and it would be if it were even 1/8" shorter, but it's good, and comfortable. The carbon fiber is beautiful, with no pockets, and is rounded off at the edges, making it feel great in hand. The clip might be a little tight, but I can always loosen that up a bit. Nice, functional blade in all respects. Great jimping, but I wish they had extended in another 1/2". Voxnaes and Fox have done a fine job; I recommend it.
