Definitely just for show

I have had mine for over 10 years. I also keep it put away except to show friends or play with. It has held up great and still functions like new. I would never use as a EDC. Mine is exactly the same made by AKC. I would think they must have been made in the same place, the only difference is mine says AKC ITALY on the base of the blade.
