Description:

The Clyde folder from GiantMouse makes for a standout EDC knife. It has a slender profile and a unique design, making it ideal for those who crave the unique. In the pocket, it's modest and practical, but in the hand, it's a stylish, beastly slicer that will chew through your cutting tasks like a dog through a shoe.

The Clyde, designed by Jesper Voxnaes and Jens Anso, comes in several unique handle materials, color combinations, and blade finishes.

Blade has a terrible lockup and tons of blade play. Tightening the pivot lakes it slightly better but very difficult to open. The grind on this knife is horribly uneven as well. Terrible customer service by Giantmouse and Blade HQ as well, steer far away.
Copper is the topper on the Ace Clyde!

Smooth action of the copper Clyde. Such a beautiful knife. Good lock-up. Blade is very sharp.
No negatives on this knife.

I stopped buying handguns because I really didn't need anymore. Apparently I needed a new bad habit, so I got into knives. I can't remember how or why that happened, but it has now become an illness. I was going to limit myself to $50 a knife, but the illness is now raging. The ACE Clyde just looked like a beautiful knife with excellent steel. I was going to get brass, but I waited too long. I have one in brass, so copper seemed like a reasonable alternative. I don't know what others do with all their knives. Lately I've been carrying two. The only one I don't carry routinely is an MKM Burnley Raut. It's another beautiful knife with M390 steel. It's a little to heavy for a pants pocket and it is somewhat difficult to close with my old fingers, but I had to have it. Both knives are wonderful. I don't know how much cutting they will do, but did I mention I'm ill. Blade HQ has amazing delivery service. I ordered the MKM the day after the ACE Clyde. They arrived together, 3 days after the first order. I don't know how they do it. Everything else I order online takes 8-10 days. Oh yeah, they are both incredibly sharp.
