Big solid knife
Alexander L. on Sep 19, 2022

I really like it. Mine came with the blade centered well. It is Elmax and looks like slightly worn. Only the edge shows that it is new. The knife is heavy and fairly big for an OTS auto but looks elegant. Some people complain that the deployment is not strong enough. Mine is strong for me and definitely no worse than Hogue Ballista, or Benchmade CLA, or ProTech TR-3. The deployment does not require so much force as for Microtech Stitch but it very solid. Whoever compared MT Ultratech with GT Recon 035 knows what I mean: sometimes too strong a spring can be tiring. The only small drawback for me typical for MT and Heretic is lack of safety button. But in this case it may be OK due to force needed to deploy it. Highly recommend, although some might want a lighter knife for an EDC.

Gorgeous knife
Joe T. on Aug 15, 2019

I really wanted to love this knife but it fell short on point that I think are very important. Blade is off center and it is just a hair away from rubbing on one side when you close. (this should never happen on a knife at this price point.) I got a really good bite off the knife when reaching for it in my pocket - Tip up and the tip is not fully concealed by the handle (again at this price point this should not happen). Outside of these two issues the knife is absolutely gorgeous.
