My favorite neck knife that I own. I have several neck knives, but this one is the one that I carry every day. Very useful blade to have on you. It is so lightweight at one ounce that you almost forget that you have it around your neck. Very good ergonomics for such a little knife. Great for slicing through the plastic blister packaging on packaged items. It's like having a razor blade around your neck. I used it the other day to trim the cuticles on my fingernails. Excels at slicing through paper and cardboard for breaking down boxes. Came razor sharp out of the box. And Hinderer's heat treat on S35VN steel is awesome. This neck knife is very easy to resharpen due to the steel and the blade shape. Don't worry about rust, as this is stainless so if you sweat a lot while you have this around your neck it will not rust. Great for cutting fishing line while you are out at the lake. Don't let the price scare you away, you are getting a quality made in the USA blade here with the Hinderer LP-1 Wharncliffe neck knife. This knife gets more use than any of the other knives that I own, including my Spyderco Paramilitary 2 in M390. Cutting cardboard, string, opening mail, opening packages, trimming your cuticles, etc.. this little blade is great for those chores. You might say to yourself there is no way that I would spend $175 for a neck knife. I will tell you that you get what you pay for when it comes to buying this knife. As I said it's made in the USA, great heat treat, stainless steel S35VN, easy to sharpen and it's made by Rick Hinderer Knives. Forget about the price already and just buy it. After you get it, you can thank me later for suggesting that you get this extremely useful blade.
