These are excellent quality knives in the Italian stiletto style. All of them have good action and are well constructed. They are superb knives for EDC use and any collection. The blade tang is stamped "AKC Italy."

I have been looking for a "smaller" swinguard for a while, so I picked up this 9" Roma. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I was a bit disappointed. Cons: Build quality does not feel like a close to $100 knife. The scales are a bit chunkier than they need to be and the guard is very loose - way more than the amount of play to be expected with swinguards. Also, the blade tang is not stamped with "AKC Italy" as the description states. It is stamped with "AKC World". I have seen pictures of these with the "Italy" stamp, so I'm not sure if the country of origin can vary or has changed, or if that has affected the quality. The description has "Hong Kong, Italy" as the country of origin. Pros: Blade is sharp enough out of the box. It does have a delightful and strong action, and the blade does lock up pretty well with limited play.
