This knife is one of the poorer quality Kershaws that Iíve bought before, which is a real disappointment considering the design of this knife is one of my favorites of the CQC series. The handle is very comfortable and ergonomic and feels great in the hand. The lock up on the knife was at about 80% out of the box with both side to side blade play and front to back, which could be fixed by tightening the pivot screw, but then made the blade too stiff to open and close comfortably. The detent on opening this knife is olso way too strong, making the thumb stud an almost usable option. My suggestion, buy one of the other Emerson-Kershaw collaboration knives.
