This Headgrille model has a blackwash finished stainless steel blade and handle.
The Kershaw Headgrille offers EDC perfection with a slim and lightweight design that is built tough for any difficult cutting job. It has a stainless steel handle that has a machined texture for added style and grip performance. The blade comes in a drop point style with a flipper and thumb stud openers. Item includes a tip-down stainless steel pocket clip.
Out of the package, knife is very sharp, it deploys quickly, is well built and sturdy, though a bit heavy. I got it on sale for $12.99, making it a no brainer.
There are several levels on which I should not like this knife, but I do! It's made of a mystery steel. I have no idea what the characteristics of this steel are! It is NOT 'lightweight', as described in the posting: it's six and a half ounces! It has a tip-down pocket clip; I prefer tip-up! So, those are the things this knife is NOT! What it is, is one COOL knife! It looks great, deploys great, closes great, carries great, no hot spots, and is as rugged as a knife can be! And it's $12.99! 'Nuff said!
