This Launch 1 model has a Gray DLC finished CPM-154 steel blade and a gray anodized aluminum handle with black finished hardware, pocket clip, and bulls-eye pattern firing button.

Kershaw's most recent automatic knife offering, the Launch Series, is simply superb. These knives have a compelling design, fast action, high-performance materials, and they're made in the USA!

Each of the Launch models features a stylish and unique integral backspacer pattern where the two pieces of aluminum connect with the USA flag laser-engraved on the back side of the handle. In tandem with the reversible tip-up carry pocket clip, the Launch 1 model is outfitted with a pass-through hole hidden at the base on the handle for lanyard attachment.

Beautiful knife!!!
Bruce E.
Just got this knife today, and it is awesome. At first I thought it was made of plastic due to its light weight. I guess Iím just used to heavier knives. But this is a solid knife! Solid firing, razor sharp, and beautiful knife!!! I have some higher end autos(Benchmade & Microtech), and this $100 knife stands up. Plus Kershaw uses the CPM-154 as opposed to the 154cm that Benchmade uses. I got my eye on the 7100BW now.
