Description:
The Monitor from Kershaw Knives is a flipper pocket knife with a cross bar lock; join that with the fact that it has a reversible pocket clip and you're looking at a 100% ambidextrous pocket knife. But the Monitor's virtues only start there: It boasts a D2 tool steel blade, a lightweight FRN handle, and a lanyard hole so you can add a personal touch. You'll love Kershaw's DuraLock technology. The reliable steel crossbar connects with the blade tang and securely locks the blade in place; all you have to do is pull back on the lock to safely close the blade. The Monitor's best feature, though, is its brand: Kershaw. This company is dedicated to bringing nothing but quality to the market, which is operant even in high-value knives like this. You won't rue the day you slip the Kershaw Monitor into your pocket.

I saw someone’s picture of this knife the other day, and it’s one of those that just caught eye. Couldn’t beat the price, so I had to have it. Nothing overly revolutionary about it, but it’s a cool shape, I love flippers, and I thought I’d check out Kershaw’s bar lock. It looks even nicer in person, feels great in the hand, and after a few flips to wear it in, the action is as smooth and quick as anything else in the drawer. The blade is razor-sharp right out of the box; and when there’s nothing to cut up, it’s a great little fidgeter. Folks with big hands might find it a little small; but I don’t have big hands, so it’s a perfect size for me. Like the title says, it’s another great piece, now my 7th from Kershaw. Also a shout-out to BHQ for their super fast service and shipping.
