Description:
Begleiter comes from the German language meaning "companion." Designed for those who prefer a slim profile, the Begleiter delivers. The handle is inset from the liners and keeps this knife incredibly lightweight and subtle in the pocket. It has an open-build with two barrel spacers on either side of the elongated lanyard hole. The EDC-ready design includes a reversible tip-up carry clip. A caged ball bearing pivot ensures a smooth and reliable action. The craftsmanship of the Kizer Begleiter is finished off completely by hand for sharpening, quality inspection, and is put to the test. Kizer Cutlery strives to bring the best knives forward while keeping them affordable.

I liked the look, sale price was good and I feel like Kizer has a good name to represent. Upon arrival, I have been very surprised by this knife. The lockup is nice and solid, the action is smooth and opens easily with the thumbstud to flip open. The handle texture is nice and grippy, comfortable in hand. With the limited use Ive had so far with it, it has proved to be shape and easily cut through everything Ive been using it on. Overall Im pleasantly surprised by this knife and glad its in the collection.
The knife looks and feels right. Very sharp out of the box. However, after an hour of cutting cardboard, I was reminded that it was still only VG 10 steel.
I bought this as I was hoping to replace my other Kizer knife (the micarta version I had was out of stock). I liked the looks of the knife but trying to deploy the knife was far from smooth. This knife I received did NOT have the caged ball bearing pivot, only a couple of washers in place.
Very nice looking knife out of the box. Got it on sale (I see why now), and enjoyed it for a little while. After about 2 weeks of EDC, the pocket clip lost a screw, and was rendered useless. About a month in, the tip broke off, not sure how! Would not recommend
