Begleiter comes from the German language meaning "companion." Designed for those who prefer a slim profile, the Begleiter delivers. The handle is inset from the liners and keeps this knife incredibly lightweight and subtle in the pocket. It has an open-build with two barrel spacers on either side of the elongated lanyard hole. The EDC-ready design includes a reversible tip-up carry clip. A caged ball bearing pivot ensures a smooth and reliable action. The craftsmanship of the Kizer Begleiter is finished off completely by hand for sharpening, quality inspection, and is put to the test. Kizer Cutlery strives to bring the best knives forward while keeping them affordable.

I don't know why buts it's my favorite knife
This knife is an absolute beast of a knife, I got it 6 months ago and sharpen it once, I work at a gas station and I open 3 - 4 boxes every shift and I can tell you that i worked a lot of shift and that knife cant stop being sharp. It is still razer sharp even tho i sharped it like crap 3 months ago, I totally recommend this knife to anyone, new to knives, or experienced with them. Fantastic work Kizer, keep it up.
I own several knives among them Zero Tolerance, Syderco's Para 2 and 3, and several CRKT's to name a few. I have a knife for pretty much every occasion. My Spyderco G10s are nice to the point of almost being collector items. What I love about the Begleiter is it's a well-made knife with a sweet bushing action and is sleek like a race car. The knife is functional and lovely to look at. It's not the greatest knife by no means but checks all of the major boxes and fits in your pocket so nicely it's easy to forget it's there. The touch and feel are on par with more expensive knives and the steel N690 is right up there. I purchased the black G10 with the blackened blade. I wish I'd gotten an uncoated blade. The blackened coating can come off if you sharpened your knife too aggressively. Great knife as I said, "It's not my best knife" but overall "It's my favorite". I always come back to it and when it's out of my pocket too long I miss it. Great knife!
