Description:
Begleiter comes from the German language meaning "companion." Designed for those who prefer a slim profile, the Begleiter delivers. The Begleiter 2 has a button lock mechanism for easy opening and ultra-safe closing. The handle is inset from the liners and keeps this knife incredibly lightweight and subtle in the pocket. It has an open-build with two barrel spacers on either side of the elongated lanyard hole. The EDC-ready design includes a reversible tip-up carry clip. A caged ball bearing pivot ensures a smooth and reliable action. The craftsmanship of the Kizer Begleiter is finished off completely by hand for sharpening, quality inspection, and is put to the test. Kizer Cutlery strives to bring the best knives forward while keeping them affordable.

I usually Cary a Griptilian. I needed something that sliced better for around the house EDC. Love Spyderco but wanted something taking up less pocket. Perfect choice in my opinion for larger hands on light duty. 154cm loves my worksharp field sharpener. Easy to maintain. Kizer makes a smooth action on button locks. This is no exception. Blade and handle geometry makes for great light duty. Pocket clip does not flare at the end (as shouldn’t). No hot spots. Nicely done Kizer. All clips should be done as such.
Extremely nice knife and oh so smooth to operate. The blade comes razor sharp and the button lock feature is great. Once the button is pushed, this knife closes with the most minor of assistance of any knife I have ever seen. I'm a Kizer fan boy now and I look forward to purchasing more Kizer products. Merry Christmas everyone. I know Kizer made mine more merrier.
