Description

Description

The Kizer LGM features a modified tanto blade with a hollow grind and a plain edge. While it lacks any common openers, the machined holes and indent provide just enough traction to deploy the blade. Its open-built titanium frame lock handle offers a comfortable grip and high durability for everyday use. Includes a secure pocket clip for tip-down carry. This model has a brushed titanium handle with blue anodized accents and a gray Ti coated blade.

If you have a chance to get this knife at the sale price, grab it. The fit and finish is super. The titanium scales are just beautiful. Kizer milled the thin area for the lock bar on the back side of the scale. Also, the cut away for access to the lockbar is more than sufficient, refreshing in fact. I don't like trying to dig in to release the lock bar on knives, and on this one, you don't need to do that. I don't know why more manufacturers don't do both of these things on integral frame locks. The blade shape and coating are really uncommon, and make this knife stand out. I would have given 5 stars, but the deployment is odd. You can't get enough purchase on the blade to flick it open. It should either have a thumb stud, or the holes should have been bigger, or the recessed thumb area should have been deeper. The tip down carry only is a strange choice. But the knife is still outstanding, and such a good deal for the sale price. Grab one while they last.
