The limited edition Mini Intrepid flipper from Kizer is an exciting collaboration with knifemaker Ray Laconico. This more compact version still has that same solid feel in hand, but features open handle construction with polished standoffs. Like other models, it is outfitted with a steel lockbar insert and tip-up carry clip. The blade has been upgraded to Bohler M390 stainless steel with hollow grinds and a satin finish. Ceramic ball-bearings at the pivot ensure excellent action when deploying the blade.

I been waiting for this knife on massdrop but it never happen ,then BladeHQ have it on sale on black friday so it's a no brainer for me to pick it up and there are lot of good review of it and those review were spot on.

But for me I find that this knife have the custom made quality, that only have on expensive knife. The cnc machinery no hot spot whatsoever from the carefully chamfer handle. If you need a small edc knife don't hesitate pick up this mini intrepid today.
Pick this up if you want it!!

I got this for the Black Friday sale, and it seems all Kizer knives are on sale. First off, the packaging for the knife blew me away. Come in a nice white box sleeve with the main black Kizer box inside. Also comes with a nice big grey microfiber cloth with the logo stamped into it. Okay finally about the knife, the grind was really nice, equal on both sides and shaving sharp. The satin finish was executed very well and lock up and action were impeccable. The detent was a little softer than I'm used to (only other flipper I own is the ZT0562) but I think it makes a pretty good push button flipper. I noticed after flipping it after awhile that the pivot became a little loose so I put some blue threadlocker on the male pivot screw and I haven't noticed any problems since. Overall a very nice knife that has awesome aesthetics and very functional.
Very nice but much cheaper else where
The knife is almost perfect. Love the look and feel of the knife, but would be perfect if it were a little closer to 4" on the handle length. Still can get 4 finger on the handle if you put thumb on blade flat, just my knit pick.

On a side note
I found the same knife on another site for much much lower price ($68 less) and purchased a 2nd one.
Blade HQ response:

Thank you,

Wow, this thing is smooth. It is a really small knife, yet I can comfortably get a four finger grip. The detent is light enough to let it fall shut, yet it still fires out when you flip it.
