Description:
This Kizer Mini Sheepdog knife offers a more compact version of the cleaver design from Chris Conaway of Sheepdog Knives. A deeper finger choil has been added to the handle of this model. Its wide blade is made from 154CM stainless steel. The blade deploys effortlessly on a smooth ball bearing pivot, and locks up solid. A micarta handle provides a lightweight and durable build. This knife offers a remarkable combination of tactical functionality and a refined, stylish appearance.
This is perfect for my use. Fit and finish is fantastic. Handle ergonomics are really great. Sculpted, rounded handles provide no hotspots at all. I can live without a lanyard hole. For my use blade size is perfect and very pocket friendly. I have both the mini vanguard version and the mini titanium scaled version. It’s a dressier version of the vanguard. Quality steel knife steel + ball bearing pivots + nicely finished titanium scales = a fantastic edc knife. I rotate this with the vanguard sheepdog and my weknife roxi.
I got the vanguard version of this knife when it came out but never had the original. This is everything I wish the vanguard series version of this knife was. Great titanium handles, s35vn steel and a super lockup. This thing is legit one of my favorite knives in my collection right now.
