Nice Pocket-friendly Kizer
Nikolaus M.
I'm a relative newcomer to knives and was looking through the recent Kizer sale to see if I might want to purchase something. The two that caught my eye were Kizer Blast and Kizer Splinter. I ended purchasing both.

What do I like about the Kizer Splinter? The long and relatively narrow blade and handle and light weight mean it disappears fairly well off to the side in my pocket. Besides having a long, flat cutting edge for slicing, it also has a nice point for piercing. It flips open pretty easily, and the textured G10 scales feel pretty good in my hand once open. I also like it that it's a liner lock, so both sides of the handle are G10.

What would I change? I'd like to see some jimping on the flipper to make it even easier to open. I'd also like to see a deeper carry clip so the top of the knife wasn't exposed. The clip is really stiff, so I'd personally like a more relaxed clip to make placement/removal easier. Other than that, I don't think I'd change much of anything.
amazing gift

This knife was gifted to me b a friend and have fallen in love. It has a small but accessible flipper tab, smooth action, wonderful ergonomics, and is just very fun to carry.
