Don't be confused by the title of my review or this models name. This knife is a truly utilitarian and tactical tool that any civilian or operator can carry with confidence. At just under five inches this knife is large enough for most tasks and small enough to carry with ease. With a thickness of .18 inches this blade is thick and stout. The weight of this knife feels comfortable yet substantial, and the VG10 steel blade is shaving sharp and slices and pierces with surprising efficiency, considering how thick the blade stock is. This is a great tool that would be perfect for anything from bushcraft to personal defense, or combat. This fixed blade by Kizer was worth every penny. Like my title says this recurve Bowie style blade is truly Superbad in all the right ways.
