Description:

Frank Landau, the craftsman and visionary behind Landau Knives, dreamed up the Saoirse button lock knife when circumstance gave him too much time on the road, and thus too much time to think. And we're glad it did! One long, boring drive after the other induced creativity that eventually produced this elegant yet menacing folder. The Saoirse has a compound-ground blade that, when the button is pressed, swings smoothly open and closed with a flick of the wrist, generating a satisfying and addicting. The handle, made from milled, anodized aluminum, is shaped in a way that's unusual at first but quickly melds to your hand, providing a variety of ergonomic grips: First, you can rest your thumb at the base of the blade, maximizing your reach; second, you can press the pad of your thumb on the spinal jimping, ensuring the most unyielding grip; third, you can move even higher, situation your thumb on the curved, rounded portion of the blade above the jimping, giving yourself the most control for fine cuts. Frank Landau finished off the knife with a custom titanium pocket clip that's comfortable in hand, easy to slide in and out of your pocket, and holds the knife securely. The Saoirse is an eye-catching masterpiece that boasts excellent ergonomics and has a fidget factor through the roof.
