This MKM Mikro 1 fixed blade model is an exclusive to Blade HQ, originating from Jesper Voxnaes design, and is rocking a black Bohler M390 blade and natural micarta handle scales with black hardware and a black collar. This compact blade comes with a leather sheath and neck band to be used as a neck knife.
MKM Knives, Maniago Knife Makers, is a collaboration of the four largest knife makers in Italy; LionSteel, FOX Knives, Viper, and Mercury. Together, they collaborated with custom knife maker, Jesper Voxnaes, to create the Mikro 1. It is a miniature fixed blade knife with multiple carry options, including in the pocket, or as a neck knife. The deep finger choil is dependable and provides security when in use.
Features:I have been eyeing these since they were first released. It is an interesting design and uses great components. That said, it is even smaller than I imagined. The handle is actually a two finger grip for me with a sub 2 inch blade. I didn’t expect it to be an Esee 6 or something but this limits it’s use. The overall design is great. I would love to see MKM make a version with a larger handle and a 3.5 in blade.
