Stylish D. Ralph design. The 18 Xray series features a black DLC coated 154-CM drop point blade with serrated edge. The handle is black anodized 6160 aluminum and is contoured to provide a good fit in the hand. The pocket clip is reversible for tip or top down carry. The Xray's firing button features an integrated safety- it must be slid forward before it can be pressed down so it can't fire by accident (a very cool design). A very solid knife that would make a great user.
This knife is super sturdy with a nearly 4" blade. The spring is powerful creating a great feeling snap when opening. I have fallen in love with the integrated locking/opening mechanism. Just push the button forward then down and the knife opens. This is probably the best button design I've seen. It will absolutely not open by accident yet is quick to open you you want it.
