Stylish D. Ralph design. The 18 Xray series features a black DLC coated 154-CM tanto blade with a partially serrated edge. The handle is black anodized 6160 aluminum and is contoured to provide a good fit in the hand. The pocket clip is reversible for tip or top down carry. The Xray's firing button features an integrated safety- it must be slid forward before it can be pressed down so it can't fire by accident (a very cool design). A very solid knife that would make a great user. This is not a white glove knife, it was made to be used!

Built solid

This Knife is Solid with practically no blade play. It felt a tad bit dry but no big. Just a few drops of oil for the pivot and super smooth action. It's very well possible it's the best auto at this price. Good Job BHQ!

I bought this as a gift for my father. With owning several Spyderco's and Benchmade's as a reference I was very impressed with everything about this knife. I think a knife needs to be a solid usable tool and this far exceeds my expectations. The action is fast and locks up extremely tight there's no play in the blade at all. The safety being built into the release button makes it easy to open and close like no other autos on the market. The thick tanto blade is razor sharp straight from the box. The only thing I would suggest is a drop of gun oil on the release button and a drop to each side of the blade pivot because of the tight tolerances. Now it fires extremely smooth and is ready to wrap. I plan on buying one for myself as soon as they are back in stock.
