Microtech's largest OTF production knife is named after the Troodon dinosaur. The Combat Troodon is the really large version of the popular Troodon. Despite the size, the handle feels slim and comfortable. The double-edged dagger style blade is both attractive and functional and the action is Microtech excellent.
This Combat Troodon has a stonewash finished double-edge dagger blade and purple anodized aluminum handle with bead blast finished steel glass breaker, pocket clip and hardware.
I've had this knife since early 2012. I've used in my body shop on a daily basis. I've never had to take it apart though I've cleaned it several times by flushing and drying it. It is a brutally tough knife. I've had dimes get stuck in it, and I've gotten them out of it, lint, dust etc. a wonderful knife with many scars on it I love this knife! It's actually getting so beat up I bought a Makora II to carry while off work. I have used it for light prying work as well as cutting just about anything. Very tough knife and worth every penny I paid for it. I love Microtechs, this is my fourth one and they have all been equally tough. Though the Combat has been used the hardest on a daily basis. Terrific knives!
