Let's be honest, $500 for a knife hurts. You could get a UTX 70 for less than half that. But find a cypher, try it out. Surprisingly thin, it's comfortable both in the pocket and in hand. The blade is a beautiful slab of m390, razor sharp, with a thickness to the spine that would hold up to heavy use. The action is the best I've felt from a microtech, and the lockup is solid as a rock. I had to sell 3 knives to afford this, and I don't regret it for a second. My only issue- an included case would be really nice. I know microtech doesn't do cases except for Marfione customs but for this much money it'd go a long way.
