Description

Description

This model of the Microtech Troodon comes with a satin M390 blade and a black aluminum handle with bead blasted hardware.

The Microtech Troodon is a smaller version of the famous Combat Troodon; 25% smaller, in fact. It features the same design as it's big brother, but is more pocket friendly. Named after the Troodon dinosaur, a word that means "wounding tooth" in Greek, this knife is sure to live up to its name.

Snappy, smooth, and simply done right. This blade is extremely pocket friendly with great aluminum handles and an excellent blade steel, this knife will be my go to edc knife and a favorite in my collection.
Best Microtech Hands Down!

Iíve owned the Ultratech and the UTX 85 but this beats them both by a long shot! There is some wiggle with the blade but if youve owned an OTF you know thatís to be expected. There is a quality to this craftsmanship that blows other OTF knives out of the water! I would highly reccomend this knife if you get that chance to get it!
You can do better!

I wanted an OTF slightly smaller than my Ultratech. I found the UTX-70 too small and exchanged for a Troodon Executive. The size and weight were perfect. Strong deploy and retract action. The drop point blade is sharp and rugged. My only disappointment is the blade wobble and rattle. The blade tip lateral displacement is about one millimeter. Worse yet the rattle is enough to play La Cucaracha. I highly recommend the Ultratech over the Troodon Executive. Also you'd save a few bucks.
