The S1 Baton is the smallest LED flashlight with a side switch that Olight has ever made. Like the other Olight Baton flashlights, the S1 is a premium model that doesn't disappoint. It has a rugged, albeit diminuitive, aerospace grade aluminum body with a multi-function switch and blue anodized accents on the head and around the button. The tail on the S1 Baton has a powerful magnet and it comes with a removable pocket clip. In addition to the three brightness levels, moonlight mode and strobe, the S1 has two timer settings for 3 and 9 minutes.

Mode: Output / Runtime
  • High: 500 lumens / 1.5 hours
  • Mid: 80 lumens / 6 hours
  • Low: 8 lumens / 40 hours
  • Lower: 0.5 lumens / 25 days

Small and light, magnetic feature rocks!
Matthew B.
I used to carry this light everywhere before gifting it to a friend. I replaced it with the new S1 Mini Baton with rechargeable battery.
Big light compact size

This small light packs a lot of light. I really like the magnetic base of the light, allowing you to see into the dark hands-free, which is invaluable. It's very bright, and very light :)

Will be purchasing more for family
Awesome for working on cars

My sister gave me one of these for my birthday. Pointed out that the magnet means I could stick it to the hood of the car.

It's bright enough for that to be useful but really in the under-hood department there are more and better ways to light the compartment.

Where this light really shines is when you realize that you have to do some intricate work in some bull-crap part of the engine compartment like say between the engine block and the firewall from below the car and it's just a super tight spot and awkward to get to and there's nowhere to hang a work light.

Just stick this itty bitty light to, uh, just about any piece of steel.

I had it stuck to a CV axle for a while. That was fine.

I had it stuck to a hose clamp for a bit. Fine.

I found a spot on the exhaust heat shield that perfectly illuminated the area I had to work in without my hands or tools getting in the way.
Best EDC flashlight hands down.

I love this flashlight so much. I thought that it wasn't going to be that bright even though it's listed at 500 lumens. When I first turned this light on turbo (500 lumens) I was blown away. I can't believe a light the size of my pinky can shoot a beam like that. 5 stars.
