The S1R Baton is a compact, rechargeable LED flashlight with a lot to offer. Like the other Olight Baton flashlights, the S1R is a premium model that doesn't disappoint. It has a rugged, albeit diminuitive, aerospace grade aluminum body with a multi-function switch and blue anodized accents on the head and around the button. The tail on the S1 Baton has a powerful magnet and it comes with a removable pocket clip. This flashlight includes a magnetic USB charging cable for quick, convenient charging at home or on the go.

Love it, except..
Tim O.
First off, I do love the Baton. I carry it everyday and its pretty interesting all the times I find myself pulling it out for this or that. The world is full of darkness, I guess! It seems to keep a charge for a long time, considering the size, it charges up quickly when it needs a charge and the variable intensity feature is very useful. The size is perfect for EDC.

My one problem, and I hope the manufacturer addresses it, cuz Ill get at least another one if they do, is the clip.

There is a perforation, I guess designed to increase the grippyness to the pocket, which rolls right into a 90 bend at the point where the removable clip attaches to the body of the light. First; the perforation is completely unnecessary. The clip is plenty tight at the bottom bend and it only creates something to fight your way through getting the light back in your pocket, and secondly, then you have to fight your way over the 90 bend to completely seat the light at the top of your pocket.

My suggestion is that the olight folks determine how many people want a c battery sized object floating around the bottom of their pockets and if its a not many, commit to a permanent pocket clip, maybe screwed in, that doesnt require all of the bends.

Again, I wont be leaving this useful and perfect EDC sized light at home cuz the clip, but Id pay an extra five or ten bucks for perfection.
Best light I've had.

This is by far the best light I have ever owned. At first I was skeptical because of the price, but after a week of use I am 100% sold.

I am seriously thinking about buying a second one to keep on hand. This light is everything you want. Small, tough, bright, and rechargeable.
