This is a great knife. I love how thin the blade is. You can use it for food, letters, boxes, and what ever else you need to cut it will do it.
Great knife!

This is the best knife for the price, hands down! That said, I recommend the stainless steel version... The slight loss in edge retention is worth it. My only other advice is go for a bit larger size if you have larger hands... No8 is ideal for me!
A couple small issues

- The blade is sharp all the way back, and there's nothing to keep the hands from sliding forward onto it. I recommend blunting the rear-most 1/2" of blade

- this model's handle is a bit too short for adult male hands. Men should go with a #7 or #8 instead. This is a good size for kids, but get them the stainless one; you know they'll let this one rust.

+ This design really holds up, due to its simplicity, warmth in the hand and low cost yetgood quality. It's hard to explain how nice this feels in the hand, with wood all theway around.

+ This is an outstanding food knife. Perfect to port in your lunch box or to take along on a picnic. Well, asst least the #8 would be. 😉
Great value
