Description:
The Pena Knives X-Series offers high performance production knives from custom knife maker Enrique Pena. The Apache model is a more geometric design than most of the other Pena knives, and it has a reverse tanto blade, making it a unique, eye-catching knife that still has the Pena panache.
Pena Knives, designed by the one and only Enrique Pena, are stylish and classy knives with a traditional motif. Dependable, good looking, and sleek, what more would you want from a pocket knife?
This Apache is my fourth X-series to date, and I have yet to be disappointed!
This is just the knife I was looking for; sleek, modest at a glance, with quality materials, and the ability to be used as an office EDC. Super sharp and buttery smooth out of the box.
I've been eyeing this knife for months. When it dropped to $199 I decided to go for it. The materials are great, but the workmanship is poor. The finish is chipped in places. That's fine to me, knives are tools and meant to be used. But then the bevels were off so I tried to even them out but, since the knife has an uneven/assymetrical grind, the bevel will come out lopsided no matter how time and effort I put into it. It's all very disappointing for a knife that originally cost $300. And since I sharpened it I'm SOL, but that parts on me. Hopefully this turns someone off from blowing $200 on this knife.
