I was hesitant to buy this knife as it looked quite large however, It’s a similar size to the TR3. The ergonomics are quite good and i do prefer the textured models over the smooth models. The Desert Warrior version is really interesting and has a cool aesthetic. I can’t speak to the quality of the coating or steel as i just received the knife but i am sure it will hold up to everyday use. As always protech has a superior action that really snaps the blade open. No risk of accidental opening with the recessed button as well. Love the knife, would definitely recommend unless you have really really small hands in which case just get the protech SBR. I’m waiting for the day protech/les George do a version in-between the size of the SBR and the Rockeye.
