Pro-Tech Half-Breed Automatic Knife (1.95" Black) 3607

I just received my Pro-Tech Half Breed. I live in California, so automatic blade length must be under 2". I've already purchased a Pro-Tech Calmigo from Blade HQ, but I like the size and fit of the Half-Breed handle more. I was apprehensive about the small blade with the larger handle, but it looks great and I am extremely pleased with this knife. This knife has become my EDC.

I'm 75 and have owned and used more knives than I can count as an outdoorsman, youth outdoor recreation leader, retired serviceman, and personal protection instructor. I was given a Pro-Tech Half Breed as a promotional gift over a year ago. I use it almost daily - including to cut-down cardboard boxes (an notorious edge killer for knives). This knife came razor-sharp and keeps an edge for a long time. NOTE: I sharpen it periodically with RUIXIN PRO RX-008 Professional Knife Sharpening System that I use for all my kitchen knives. The mechanical function is also second-to-none.

I’m from California and I never have an interest in autos. I then realized the launch 4 from kershaw was a Cali legal auto, but didn’t like that the handle was so small. So I checked what autos were under 2”. I then found the protech half breed with a full size handle and the rest is history!
