Description:
The Pro-Tech SBR is a smaller, lighter, and more pocketable version of the popular Rockeye, hence the name SBR, or Short Bladed Rockeye. It's designed by Les George, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and master craftsman of tactical knives. The blade features a useful drop point with a patch of jimping that gives you superb control of the knife. The handle is simple and clean, with just enough contouring to make it comfortable. For ease of carry, the pocket clip, and its screws, are recessed into the handle, making sliding it in and out of the pocket easy.
The Pro-Tech SBR comes in several colors, and sometimes comes in custom models. Pro-Tech knows how excellent this knife is, and they are committed to making the perfect one for you!
This is the perfect little big knife. I waited a long time before purchasing it, and now that I have it I love it. Not too big, not too small. It feels strong with the thick blade and jimping, but is lightweight, compact, and fits in a pocket with the subtlety you want most of the time. I like the stonewash blade and color options. The materials, craftsmanship, and mechanics are top notch.
Perhaps the best EDC I’ve ever owned. Extraordinary even by Protech’s lofty standards. Lightning fast and rock solid. Substantial without being heavy or bulky. Beautifully constructed and impressive in every way. Buy this knife.
I just received this knife today and I am impressed. It came sharper than any knife I have ever bought. The blade is perfectly centered and it fires hard. I was worried that the blade would be too thick for it's size but it is actually ground pretty thin at the edge. I love the texturing on the scales although the scale on the clip side is smooth. If I was going to change anything, I would make it a little more pointy. I like to use my knife as a toothpick and a sharp point comes in handy for that. In my opinion, this is the coolest knife I own next to my Buck 112 auto. You won't be disappointed with this knife!
